The final week of the NFL season is upon us, and many teams’ seasons are up in the air. 13 teams have been eliminated, but that leaves 19 teams left.

Some of these cemented their spots, but most are still fighting.

There are many different scenarios I could talk about, but I will only focus on two. The first game is the Lions-Packers matchup. If the Packers win, they make the Playoffs in the seventh seed.

However, the Lions need a little luck.

Detroit must win and see the Seattle Seahawks lose in their game against the Los Angeles Rams.

I will be rooting for the Lions but giving the edge to the Packers. The Packers are on a four-game winning streak and have home-field advantage. In addition, the Packers still have Aaron Rodgers as their quarterback. Rodgers is not nearly as good as he used to be, but he is still clutch. The veteran had a tough start to the season but is getting hot when it matters. Bet on Green Bay.

The other game I will talk about is the Dolphins-Jets matchup. The Jets are eliminated from the Playoffs, but the Dolphins stills have a chance.

Miami is on a five-game losing streak but can make the Playoffs if they win this game, and the Patriots lose to the Buffalo Bills. The Bills are still fighting for the #1 spot in the AFC, so I expect the Bills to win.

The Dolphins are falling apart right now but started the season strong. They were 8-3 before losing their last five.

However, they will win today. Tua Tagovailoa will likely not play as he is dealing with a concussion, and rookie Skylar Thompson will probably get the start. I realize that is not an ideal situation for Miami, but they still have a healthy Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.

In addition, the Dolphins are playing at home. Miami has a 5-2 home record and has beaten the Bills and other solid teams there. This game could be close, but I would bet on the Dolphins.
