Week 0 has come and gone, and now we are on to the big boy football weekends. We have a top 5 match-up to kick off the season with a BANG.
College Gameday will be joining the Irish in Columbus for this massive week one match-up.

The names on the front of the jersey and the rankings are telling a story that the game may not tell. This seems like a match-up of national title contenders, and one of them for sure can win the whole thing.
One of them may be a bit overhyped, which has never been the case (Massive eye roll).
Ohio State is coming into this game with one of the best 2 QBs in the country, the best wide receiver, a top 5 running back, and an experienced offensive group.
CJ Stroud has as good of a chance as any player in the country to win the Heisman this year. TreVeyon Henderson has Ezekiel Elliot domination potential and Jaxon Smith-Njigba can win games every time he touches the ball.
The Buckeyes are going to be an offensive juggernaut. Good luck to anyone slowing them down.
Notre Dame is a solid team and is potentially inspired by some new energy in the program being led by Marcus Freeman. They have some good talent on both sides of the ball, but they did lose a game-changer at safety to the draft last year.
Notre Dame had a great recruiting class, but most of them aren’t going to be ready to jump and play the pace and skill of the Buckeyes.
Again, this match-up looks great on paper, but once you break the game down Ohio State should run away with this one. It will be an all-time color game though. Great uniforms on both sides.
